ZYSOFT LIMITED

CurrencyUnitConverter / privacy

Privacy Policy

Effective date May 18, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how ZYSOFT Limited (“ZYSOFT,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use CurrencyUnitConverter (the “App”).

The App is designed to perform currency calculations primarily on your device. Certain network connections remain necessary to retrieve exchange-rate information, display advertising, verify purchases, measure App performance, and diagnose technical problems.

01

What stays on your device

Amounts entered into the calculator and the resulting conversions are processed locally. We do not require you to upload calculation content to our servers.

The App’s core currency-conversion function does not require access to your:

  • Photos or videos
  • Contacts
  • Camera or microphone
  • Precise location
  • Bluetooth devices
  • Local network devices

The App does, however, need an internet connection to obtain updated exchange-rate data and support online services. When a rate request is made, the selected currency codes and ordinary network information, such as your IP address, may be received by the exchange-rate data service. The numerical amount entered for calculation is not required to be included in that request.

02

Information generated through App use

We and our service providers may process the following categories of information:

Technical identifiers

This may include a Device ID, advertising identifier where permitted, installation identifier, and a pseudonymous User ID generated by the App or its integrated services.

Device and network information

This may include IP address, device model, operating-system version, App version, language, region, network status, and general technical configuration.

Usage activity

We may record events such as App launches, screen views, feature interactions, advertisement impressions, advertisement clicks, purchase-flow events, and general session information. These events are used to understand how the App performs and which functions are used. They are not intended to include the monetary amounts entered into the converter.

Diagnostics

Crash logs, error reports, response times, and other performance information may be processed when the App encounters a malfunction or technical issue.

Purchase status

If you begin a free trial, purchase a subscription, or obtain lifetime access, we may receive purchase status, product identifier, transaction or receipt information, renewal status, and entitlement status from the applicable app marketplace. We do not receive your full payment-card details.

03

How identifiers and events are connected

Device ID, User ID, and behavioral events may be associated with the same user, device, or installation instance. This association allows us to distinguish sessions, verify access rights, measure feature usage, identify repeated errors, and evaluate advertising performance.

These identifiers do not necessarily reveal your name or direct contact information. Nevertheless, they may be considered personal data or personal information under applicable law.

04

Why information is processed

Information described in this Policy may be used to:

  • Deliver exchange-rate and conversion functionality;
  • Maintain App stability and improve usability;
  • Analyze feature engagement and user behavior;
  • Detect crashes, errors, abuse, or abnormal activity;
  • Display, limit, personalize, and measure advertisements;
  • Attribute advertising activity where permission has been granted;
  • Verify subscriptions, trials, and lifetime purchases;
  • Restore purchased access and prevent entitlement errors;
  • Meet legal, security, and regulatory requirements.

Depending on where you live, processing may be based on performance of a service requested by you, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the App, compliance with legal obligations, or your consent where consent is required.

05

Advertising and tracking choices

The App may display advertising through Google Mobile Ads. Advertising technology may process Device ID, IP address, advertising data, user interactions, crash information, and performance information. Google identifies these as data categories that its Mobile Ads SDK may collect. See Google’s Mobile Ads data disclosure and Privacy Policy.

Where required, the App will request permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework before accessing the advertising identifier or using App data for tracking across other companies’ apps or websites. Apple defines such cross-company linking as tracking and requires permission on supported systems. See Apple’s User Privacy and Data Use.

If you decline tracking permission:

  • The App’s currency-conversion functions remain available;
  • You may still see advertisements;
  • Advertisements may be less personalized;
  • Data may still be processed for security, contextual advertising, basic measurement, and technical operation where permitted.

You can change tracking permission later through your device’s privacy settings. Where regional advertising-consent controls are provided, you may also use those controls to update your choices.

We do not sell personal information in exchange for money. Advertising-related disclosures may, however, be treated as “sharing,” targeted advertising, or a similar activity under certain privacy laws.

06

Analytics and advertising services

The App integrates the following Google services:

Google Analytics for Firebase

Used to record App activity, understand feature engagement, associate events with an installation or pseudonymous user, and evaluate technical performance. Firebase Analytics may automatically collect certain usage events and user properties. More information is available in the Firebase Analytics documentation and Google Privacy Policy.

Google Mobile Ads

Used to deliver advertisements, manage frequency, prevent advertising fraud, and measure or personalize advertising where permitted.

These providers process information under their own terms and privacy practices. Their systems, processing locations, and retention periods are controlled by them rather than by ZYSOFT.

07

Storage period

Copies of User ID, Device ID, usage events, IP-derived technical records, and diagnostic information stored in systems directly controlled by ZYSOFT are normally retained for no longer than 7 days, after which they are deleted or de-identified.

Information may be kept longer only where necessary to investigate security incidents, comply with a binding legal obligation, or resolve a transaction dispute.

Google and the applicable app marketplace may retain information according to their own policies. Subscription and lifetime-purchase records may also remain available through the marketplace so that purchased access can be verified or restored.

08

Your controls and privacy rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or restriction concerning your personal information. You may also have the right to object to certain processing, withdraw consent, or lodge a complaint with an appropriate data-protection authority.

You can additionally:

  • Disable or revise tracking permission in device settings;
  • Manage advertising-consent choices when the App presents those controls;
  • Manage or cancel subscriptions through your app-marketplace account;
  • Remove locally stored App information by deleting the App, subject to device backup behavior.

Because some information is associated only with a pseudonymous identifier, we may need sufficient information to locate and verify the relevant record. We will not request more information than reasonably necessary to handle the request.

09

International processing

Google and other infrastructure or data providers may process information in countries other than the country in which you use the App. Privacy protections may differ between jurisdictions. Where applicable, legally recognized safeguards will be used for international transfers.

10

Children

CurrencyUnitConverter is not directed to children below the minimum age at which they may independently consent to personal-data processing in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly request a child’s name, contact details, or account profile through the App.

If you believe a child has provided personal information contrary to this Policy, contact us so that the matter can be reviewed.

11

Policy revisions

We may revise this Policy when App functions, service providers, legal obligations, or data practices change. The updated version will display a new effective date. Where a change materially affects your rights or how information is used, an additional notice or consent request will be provided when required.
