What the App provides

CurrencyUnitConverter is a calculation tool that converts entered amounts between selected currencies using available exchange-rate information.

The App does not:

• Exchange, transfer, receive, or hold money;
• Execute foreign-exchange transactions;
• Provide banking, investment, tax, accounting, or financial-advisory services;
• Guarantee that a displayed rate will be available from a bank, payment provider, merchant, or currency-exchange service.

Some calculations may be performed locally on your device. An internet connection may be required to retrieve or update exchange-rate information, verify purchases, display advertisements, and operate analytics or technical services.

Exchange-rate limitations

Exchange rates may be supplied by third-party data providers and may differ from rates used by banks, payment networks, trading platforms, governments, or merchants. Displayed results may also be affected by rounding, update intervals, market movement, provider delays, network availability, or technical errors.

Conversion results are provided for general reference only. They should not be treated as a binding quotation or relied upon as the sole basis for a payment, trade, investment, tax filing, contractual commitment, or other financial decision.

Before completing a transaction, you should confirm the applicable rate, fees, taxes, commissions, and settlement amount directly with the relevant financial institution or service provider.

Your permission to use the App

Subject to these Terms, ZYSOFT grants you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable license to install and use the App on devices that you own or control, in accordance with the rules of the marketplace through which the App was obtained.

The App is licensed, not sold. Purchasing a subscription or lifetime-access product does not transfer ownership of the App, its source code, content, branding, or underlying technology to you.

You may use conversion results for ordinary personal or internal business purposes. You may not reproduce, extract, scrape, redistribute, sell, or commercially republish exchange-rate databases or other protected data made available through the App unless you have separate authorization from the relevant rights holder.

Acceptable use

You must not:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, modify, or attempt to derive the App’s source code except where applicable law expressly permits it;
• Circumvent subscription checks, access restrictions, advertising controls, or security mechanisms;
• Use automated systems to send excessive requests or interfere with the App’s infrastructure or third-party rate services;
• Introduce malicious code, exploit vulnerabilities, or disrupt the operation of the App;
• Misrepresent the App’s results as an official exchange-rate quotation;
• Use the App or its data in violation of financial sanctions, export controls, or other applicable laws;
• Use ZYSOFT’s names, trademarks, or visual assets without permission.

We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address fraud, misuse, security threats, legal requirements, or material violations of these Terms.

Free access, advertising, and paid features

The App may offer a combination of free functions, advertising-supported access, free trials, automatically renewing subscriptions, and one-time lifetime purchases. The options available to you may vary by country, device, App version, eligibility, or marketplace.

The purchase screen displayed before confirmation will state the current price, billing period, included features, trial duration, and other material conditions. Those purchase-screen terms form part of these Terms and control if they conflict with a general description in this document.

Subscriptions

A subscription is billed through your marketplace account after you confirm the purchase. Unless cancelled, it renews automatically for the period shown on the purchase screen, and the marketplace charges the payment method associated with your account.

You can manage or cancel an Apple App Store subscription through your Apple Account subscription settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period unless the marketplace or applicable law provides otherwise. Deleting the App does not cancel an active subscription.

Free trials

Where a free trial is offered, eligibility may be determined by the marketplace. Unless cancelled before the trial expires, the trial may automatically convert into the paid subscription shown at enrollment.

To avoid renewal charges, follow the cancellation deadline displayed during purchase or required by the marketplace. Apple currently advises users to cancel a free or discounted trial at least 24 hours before it ends.

Unused trial time may be lost when a paid subscription is purchased, where permitted and disclosed by the marketplace.

Lifetime purchases

A lifetime purchase is a one-time, non-renewing purchase that grants access to the features identified on the applicable purchase screen. “Lifetime” refers to the duration for which the purchased App and the relevant features remain lawfully available and supported; it does not transfer ownership of the App or guarantee that every future feature, separate product, or third-party service will be included.

We will not convert a lifetime purchase into a recurring subscription without a new purchase confirmation. Features materially dependent on third-party data, operating systems, marketplace availability, or legal requirements may change or become unavailable despite a lifetime purchase.

Payment and refunds

Payments, billing records, purchase authorization, subscription management, and refunds are handled by the applicable marketplace rather than directly by ZYSOFT. Refund eligibility is determined by the marketplace’s rules and applicable consumer law.

If you purchased through Apple, refund requests may be submitted through Apple’s official purchase-support process.

Advertisements and third-party services

The free version of the App may contain advertising delivered by third-party advertising services, including Google Mobile Ads. Advertising availability, frequency, and relevance may vary.

An advertisement does not mean that ZYSOFT endorses the advertised product, service, or advertiser. If you choose to interact or transact with an advertiser, that relationship is between you and the advertiser and may be governed by separate terms.

The App may also depend on exchange-rate providers, analytics services, purchase-verification systems, operating-system features, network providers, and app marketplaces. We do not control the uninterrupted operation, accuracy, policies, or continued availability of those third-party services.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how information is processed in connection with the App, including the use of device identifiers, pseudonymous user identifiers, usage events, diagnostics, advertising information, and purchase status.

By using the App, you acknowledge that information will be handled as described in the Privacy Policy and in any consent notice presented through the App. Where consent is legally required, declining that consent will not prevent access to functions that do not depend on the relevant processing, although advertisements or certain measurements may operate differently.

Ownership

The App, including its software, interface, design, text, graphics, trademarks, databases, and other materials, is owned by or licensed to ZYSOFT and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Currency names, symbols, flags, third-party trademarks, and externally sourced exchange-rate information may belong to their respective owners. Their appearance in the App does not imply sponsorship, affiliation, or endorsement.

Updates and availability

We may release updates to maintain compatibility, improve performance, correct errors, respond to security concerns, or comply with legal and marketplace requirements.

The App may occasionally be interrupted because of maintenance, network conditions, provider outages, operating-system changes, regional restrictions, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. We do not promise that every currency, rate source, advertisement, or feature will remain available in every location or App version.

You may need to install an update to continue using certain functions. We will not be responsible for problems caused by an unsupported App version where an appropriate update has been made reasonably available.

Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the App and all displayed exchange-rate information are provided on an “as available” and “as is” basis.

ZYSOFT does not warrant that:

• Exchange rates will be current, complete, or identical to transaction rates;
• Calculations will always be uninterrupted or error-free;
• Every currency or historical rate will remain available;
• The App will meet a particular commercial, financial, tax, or professional need;
• Third-party data or services will remain accurate or continuously accessible.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, guarantees, or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer-protection law.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ZYSOFT will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss arising from your use of or inability to use the App. This includes loss resulting from reliance on a displayed exchange rate, market movement, transaction fees, provider delays, missed payments, business interruption, or loss of data or profit.

Where liability cannot be excluded, ZYSOFT’s aggregate liability will be limited to the amount you paid for the affected App service, unless applicable law requires a different remedy or limitation.

These limitations do not apply to fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Ending use of the App

You may stop using the App at any time. Removing the App from your device does not automatically cancel a subscription, and you remain responsible for managing subscription cancellation through your marketplace account.

We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary because of a serious or repeated breach of these Terms, unlawful activity, security threats, marketplace requirements, or discontinuation of the App.

Provisions concerning ownership, payment obligations, disclaimers, liability, and dispute-related rights remain effective where their nature requires them to survive termination.

Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms to reflect changes to the App, payment options, third-party services, legal obligations, or business practices. The revised version will display a new effective date.

Changes will apply prospectively. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice or request renewed agreement before a material change takes effect. Continuing to use the App after the effective date of a properly notified update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Applicable rights and disputes

These Terms are subject to applicable law, including any mandatory consumer rights available in the country or region where you reside. Nothing in these Terms is intended to prevent you from using a court, regulator, alternative dispute-resolution procedure, or other remedy available under mandatory law.

If a dispute arises, you are encouraged to contact us first so that we can attempt to resolve the matter informally.
